Pantry
Our on-site, self selection Food Pantry provides a week’s supply of food for those in need of assistance. The Food Pantry is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (on days the agency is open). You must fill out an intake form and have a valid ID to use the Food Pantry. (Please note that the Food Pantry is currently drive-through only as part of TrueNorth’s COVID-19 response. We ask that you please pull up to the Food Pantry doors on the north side of the TrueNorth Service Center, 6308 S. Warner Avenue in Fremont, sound your vehicle’s horn, and someone will assist you.)

Power Packs
Weekend PowerPacks provide area youth with weekend food through partnership with local school districts. Each Weekend PowerPack consists of kid-friendly, shelf stable pre-packaged foods such as protein, nuts, cereal, pudding, soup, fruit, granola bars, microwaveable meals, snacks and/or other items. This fuel is crucial to the success of local kids.
Mobile Food Pantry
We partner with Feeding America West Michigan on a monthly mobile food pantry visit at TrueNorth, typically the last Wednesday of the month except in December (when there is no visit because of the holidays). We are currently hosting food trucks twice a month to meet an increase in need. In addition, TrueNorth works with Feeding America West Michigan and the Fremont Area Community Foundation to help coordinate the mobile food pantry schedule in Newaygo County.
